The End of an Era: the Father of Disability Rights Legislation Dies

d3ab7371035764_0beb593148-150x150 Lord Morris of Manchester recently died aged 84 and was a lifelong campaigner for the rights of the disabled in this country. He will be remembered for his groundbreaking work in bringing in the Chronically Sick and Disabled Persons Act in 1970 which was the first disability rights legislation passed in Parliament
